Artificial Intelligence is a tool.
It is dependent on the user.
It works with the information it gathers from the internet; it creates and responds to algorithms.
It can sometimes provide factually incorrect information. So it is useful to check the facts you are given.
It can be helpful when you have a psychological query or when something is just bothering you and you want a response 'outside of your own head'.
If you are frequently using it to solve psychological issues - you can become over reliant on it and it can initiate low level anxiety as you begin to feel 'an urge' to consult it and can begin to lose your own 'inner compass'.
It has no boundaries. So again, you can become reliant on it, waking up in the night and running a question by it. You can learn impatience which can lead to anxiety and the need to control.
It is designed not to challenge you. It is optimised to please the user and indeed to flatter.
It can stunt interpersonal skills - it is not a dialogue with a person.
So AI - Is it Good?
Or
Is it Bad?
It can be useful.
